The Italian Sea Group partners with Edmiston for Perini Navi sale

The Italian Sea Group (TISG) has agreed that Edmiston will exclusively handle the sale of the new Perini Navi 47m (154ft) superyacht (pictured). It is the first yacht built at the Viareggio, Italy shipyard since Perini Navi was bought by TISG in January last year.

Bruce Brakenhoff, director of the Edmiston office in Newport, Rhode Island will head the sale of the aluminium sloop. Brakenhoff previously served as president of Perini Navi USA until 2020.

“We are honoured to have the opportunity to partner with TISG and look forward to bringing our proven experience and deep knowledge of Perini Navi to expand our prolific sales track record for this brand,” said Brakenhoff.

Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO, TISG said that the partnership holds important strategic value to the group. “[The North American market] is showing particular sensitivity towards our sailing yachts and, the experience and skills of Edmiston will strengthen our current business expansion strategy”, he said.

The partnership is part of TISG’s international expansion plans in the US. Last year, TISG launched its first flagship office in the US with a site in East Hampton, Long Island. It also recently sold the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht in Miami, Florida.
