Silent Yachts hires Fabrizio Iarrera as COO
Silent Yachts has hired Fabrizio Iarrera (pictured) as chief operating officer (COO). Iarrera will be responsible for the shipyard’s workflow and operations management and help to strengthen the shipyard’s growth.
The Austrian shipbuilder produces solar electric catamarans, of up to 36m (118ft) in length, in Italy and Turkey. Iarrera said that his goal in his new position is to ensure customer satisfaction and supply clients with their “dream boats”.
He added: “I’m grateful for a chance to work for such an incredible and promising company and definitely the sky’s the limit for our team.”
Iarrera has about two decades of experience as CEO and general manager in the yachting industry with Atlantis, part of Azimut-Benetti and Monte Carlo Yachts, part of Groupe Beneteau.
Michael Köhler, founder and CEO, Silent-Yachts said that this move will help Silent Yachts to become even more efficient in production.
“I’m happy to welcome Fabrizio to our strong and capable team,” said Köhler. “Fabrizio is an accomplished and success-oriented executive with extensive experience in business operations and development and project management.”
Silent-Yachts has 28 solar electric catamarans under construction in two production sites. This includes its flagship SILENT 120 Explorer, with the order book filled until 2024.
