Ferretti eyeing acquisition in 2025

Italian yacht builder Ferretti is planning acquisition for another significant asset this year, according to CEO Alberto Galassi.
“We have three different files on the table,” Galassi told journalists, according to Reuters. “2025 will be the year of opportunities.”
Galassi would not be drawn on whether the potential target is a brand, a shipyard or something else.
Ferretti had a net cash position of €125m ($135m) at the end of December, Galassi said.

He also revealed the group was considering a possible buy-back of shares.
Ferretti Group owns seven brands in the yachting space – Wally, Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Riva, CRN and Custom Line.
Media reports last year suggested French luxury empire LVMH was eyeing an acquisition of Riva, but Galassi said he was unaware of any interest.
Chinese congolomerate Weichai holds a 37.5% stake in Ferretti.
