Return owner signs 100m project with Dunya Yachts

The owner of Dunya Yachts’ Axioma has returned to the shipyard for a new 100 metre project, Project Blade. 

73 metre Axioma was launched in 2013 and was awarded a Special Judges Commendation at the 2014 edition of the World Superyacht Awards. Then, at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show, Russell Crump, YPI’s Director of Sales, acted on the behalf of her owner signing a Letter of Intent for the construction Project Blade. The signing ceremony took place on board Axioma.

“The owner of Axioma is exceptionally happy with his yacht,” said Crump. “Now, the owner wants a new Axioma, bigger and even better than today and totally geared towards the ultimate charter experience.”

Project Blade is almost 30 metres longer than Axioma and measures in at 4,500 GT compared to Axioma’s 1,500 GT.

She will be the largest motoryacht to ever be built in Turkey.

Ken Freivokh, exterior designer, said: “Project Blade promises to set the standard for large yachts designed and built with the future in mind. She showcases the latest advances in glass and structural technology giving unique panoramic views from all decks, and ground breaking styling which totally departs from conventional side decks and fashion plates.”

Axioma has now been placed on the market exclusively with YPI and an asking price of EURO 68,000,000. Crump will represent her.
