Construction underway on OTAM’s SD35
Construction of the first OTAM SD35 is now well underway in time for her launch in May 2016.
OTAM have reported that “30%” of the 35.2 metre project, now named Gipsy, has now been built. The aluminium hull is finished, engines and generators have been installed and the aluminium superstructure is almost completed.
Special attention has been paid to Gipsy’s draught. Below the waterline, the hull features semi-tennels that limit the draught.
Otam sold the first SD 35 in October 2014 to an experienced Italian client. She will be delivered on 30th June 2016.
