MarineMax has appointed Charles A. Cashman as senior vice president of global sales to drive the growth of the yacht and superyacht brokerage divisions.

Cashman will move from his role as the company’s chief revenue officer to lead strategy, execution and performance across all MarineMax’s brands, regions and segments of the market.

“Strategic leadership, deep market knowledge and a relentless focus on growth have defined Chuck’s career with MarineMax,” said Brett McGill, the company’s CEO and president.

“His proven ability to drive sales growth, build strong manufacturer relationships, and inspire high-performing teams will be instrumental as we expand our presence in the yacht and superyacht segments. Chuck’s appointment further enhances our ability to capture new opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners worldwide.”

Cashman, who joined MarineMax in 1992, said he is “honoured” to take on the expanded role.

“Working alongside our talented team and exceptional brand partners, I look forward to building on our momentum, strengthening our client relationships, and advancing MarineMax’s leadership in the global yacht and superyacht markets,” he said.

MarineMax is the world’s largest recreational boat and yacht retailer, marina operator and superyacht services company.  In the superyacht sector, it owns leading brokerage houses Fraser Yachts and Northrop & Johnson.
