New superyacht brokerage Karma Yachting has been founded in San Marnio by Mario Cicognani and Karin Paggi. The co-founders share more than three decades of experience in purchasing, selling and building superyachts.

The brokerage plans to specialise in yachts 30m (98ft) and above, after Cicognani and Paggi worked together for eight years at Ferretti, covering yachts up to 60m (197ft). Cicognani, who previously served as Ferretti’s EMEA sales manager, said the pair had joined forces to offer their clients expertise, reliability and a well-established network of industry experts.

Whether it involves a new build, purchasing, or selling superyachts, we are committed to providing a fully customised service that ensures fast, easy, and transparent processes,” said Cicognani. “We place great importance on discretion and attentively listening to individual needs in order to meet our customers’ requirements, while also ensuring a pleasant and stimulating customer experience.”

As well as being a fusion of the founders’ names, the name Karma Yachting is also meant to represent Cicognani and Paggi’s “philosophy of life” and ethical practices, according to the new business.

Paggi, who previously held the position of head of Sales at Ferretti’s Custom Line brand for more than a decade, said that she aims to leverage established relationships within the industry and to “serve as a constant point of reference” with her clients.

At Karma Yachting, clients are free to choose their degree of participation and involvement in the project at any time,” said Paggi. “We can offer our clients an extensive list of professionals to choose from, including lawyers, designers, surveyors, and management companies, based on their preferences, experience and sensitivity.”
