JETNET launches marine division, YachtSpot

Aviation market intelligence company JETNET recently introduced their new marine division, YachtSpot, at the Miami Boat Show.

JETNET have been operating for over 26 years. They offer their subscribers detailed worldwide aircraft data and now aim to do the same for the luxury yacht industry.

YachtSpot is a new concept in market intelligence software and services for the luxury yacht industry, mainly targeted at brokers, builders, owners, financiers, and service providers. The web-based service provides information on owners, managers, and yachts for sale and charter.

This is not a listing service. Information is researched and confirmed by the YachtSpot team, then presented in a fluid and customizable database with numerous search and business management tools. The service will be provided on a contractual basis.

Diane Levine-Wilson, Director of Product Development for JETNET, said, “There is a great commonality in the target audience for business jets and superyachts, and we are able to gather insight into their specific needs in order to customize this product for our users. So far, the concept alone has elicited really positive responses.”

Vincent Esposito, President of JETNET, commented, “The most exciting and unique aspect of YachtSpot is that it connects both yachts and business aircraft into one global record. We like to say it’s where the sky meets the sea. Our YachtSpot service is the only single source for this unique and useful crossover data. Brokers and service industry professionals will be stunned by the level of information they’ll have access to. We look forward to giving them a set of indispensable business tools in YachtSpot.”
