Benetti makes sales in the Americas

Benetti have been confirmed as the leading shipyard for sales in the Americas for 2015.

They have made eight sales out of a worldwide total of eighteen in the American market, a market that the Italian shipyard has directed a lot of attention towards since the launch of Benetti Americas in 2014.

Four contracts for Fast Displacement yachts have been signed with North American clients. Benetti have also sold the first hull in the Mediterraneo 116 Displacement series. The model debuted at the Cannes Boat Show and delivery to her North American owner is scheduled for 2016.

Clients from North, Central and South America have shown continued interest in the Fast Displacement range Veloce 140′, pictured above. Her limited draft – 2.3 metres at half load – makes her iedal for Floridian, Bahamian and Caribbean waters.

“The South American market is increasingly receptive and vibrant”

In terms of South America, Benetti reports that “the market is increasingly receptive and vibrant”. They said: “In Mexico and Brazil, after years of consolidated interest in the world of luxury yachts, clients are knowledgeable and discerning in evaluating capabilities, dependability and post-sales service.

“Other countries, Colombia, Peru and Chile, though while still in experienced and needful of nautical culture, are beginning to show an interest in the Benetti brand with their reliable quality products.”

Benetti have had a strong presence at American boat shows this year. They showcased the Classic 121′ Nomadess at the Panama Boat Show in May and brought the Veloce 140′ Cheers 46 and the Benetti Delfino 93′ Ocean Drive to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this week.

They will also present two yachts at the 2016 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show: the Vivace 125′ and the Chrystal 140′.
