Heesen Yachts opens new 85 meter dock

Heesen Yachts has opened the 85 meter dry dock and its accompanying 90 meter shed at its shipyard. The completion took 15 months from being announced in June 2015.

The infrastructure is a response to the market’s request for bigger yachts and are now ready to expand the size of their yachts to 80 meters.

Heesen’s new 90 meter shed is equipped with the latest technology and has controlled central heating floors, even in the dry dock, along with air filters and humidifiers. The shed will save energy by having installed automatic sun-tracker lights and dimmable LEDs.
