Turquoise Yachts new project, 74m Barracuda, is now under construction at Kocaeli shipyard.

The exterior has been designed by H2 Yacht Design whilst the interior designer was Ken Freivokh Design. Delivery of the yacht is planned for 2019.

H2 Design and Turquoise yachts have collaborated previously on a 77m yacht, and are now working on an exciting new design that is development of two previous 70m motoryachts built by Turquoise launched in 2011 and 2013.

Barracuda will have the tried and trusted hull platform while H2 have brought a flavour of the Talisman C exterior, paying homage to her masculine lines.  The interior of Barracuda is designed by Ken Freivokh aiming to be practical and elegant.

Guiding considerations were enjoyment of the sea and maximum integration between decks because of this the vessel has an opening platform aft and three large shell doors.

The beach club opens on all three sides to large platforms which can be used to relax, swim or to board the yacht from tenders. The tender garage is designed to accommodate a 10m luxury limousine tender and a highly practical and elegant 6m day tender for guests. There is an additional 4.5m crew tender forward, and a dedicated Jet Ski garage, which would allow to stack up to four jet skis.

A triple height atrium has been created at the heart of the yacht, creating integration between all decks, including the bridge deck. Within this space a spiral staircase is mirrored by a glass floor for maximum visual integration. There will also be a large lift to enhance the movement between all decks. At bridge deck level, there is a very inviting sundeck and the option of a gym and bar.

The vessel includes a saloon-dining area on the main deck level, which opens to the rear terrace with a bar/pantry and a raised Jacuzzi pool. There is also the option of a dedicated cinema or a further guest stateroom with ensuite bathroom on the main level as well as four large guest suites with panoramic windows to the sea.

The owner has their own private deck in addition to the convenience of a discreet office, both with great views. To cap it all there is a unique crow’s nest for amazing panoramic views all round.
