Benetti launches custom built 45-metre motoryacht Domani

Superyacht designer Benetti will a launch a new custom built 45-metre displacement motoryacht FB701 called Domani this June.  It is being built at the Viareggio shipyard and will be delivered to a long standing client of the company who has already owned three yachts from the yard.

In a statement Benetti said that its client is “an expert sailor who loves cruising with his family around the world”.

The company added: “His experience along with to Benetti’s professionalism allowed to build an exceptional superyacht suitable for an intensive use.”

Benetti’s in-house team handled the exterior and hull design of the yacht while interiors were styled by Carlo Galeazzi with “considerable input” from the owner’s production team.

Benetti will unveil further details about this yacht later this year.

The launch itself was held at the historical Benetti site in Livorno Italy, which has been utilised for 143 years. It took place via a slide method slipway.

Domani is the third Benetti launch of this year following the 90-metre Lionheart and 40.2- metre Chrimi III that were both launched in February. Benetti currently has 31 projects on its order books.
