Overmarine Group launches new model Mangusta yacht

Overmarine Group has delivered a new Mangusta 94 from the company’s wharf in Viareggio in northern Tuscany. The yacht is the fourth hull in the Mangusta 94 series and has been delivered to its US owners.

The yacht measures 28.65-metres in length and the yacht design company said that that the external lines are the “distinctive racy, sporty ones of Mangusta tradition”.

It is powered by 2600HP engines supplied as standard, the same propulsion system as that on larger models and installation of a zero speed gyroscopic stabiliser (both at anchor and cast off). According to Overmarine, it is now possible to cruise at speeds as low as 10 knots with low fuel consumption. The vessel has a top speed of 38 knots.

Commenting on the design, a statement from Overmarine, said: “Like every Mangusta, this yacht also has entirely customized interiors, but the levels of personalization on her are incredibly high.

“Indeed, the American owner wanted a configuration which lent itself very much to the way yachts are used in US.”
