Beneteau sets dividends and make senior appointments

Beneteau’s annual dividend has been set at €0.30 per share and will be paid to shareholders today (June 24th). The board of the Beneteau Group also made several senior appointments, including Marie-Hélène Dick (pictured centre) as an independent director and Yves Lyon-Caen as chairman.

The board of directors of French yacht manufacturer, Beneteau met on June 17th to set the annual dividend. During the meeting, Jérôme de Metz was replaced by Dick as an independent director, after his term came to an end. Dick has also chaired the board of directors of a veterinary company, Virbac for two decades.

Bruno Thivoyon (pictured left) has been appointed as group CEO two and a half years after joining the yacht builder in January 2020 as group chief financial officer. Gianguido Girotti will continue as deputy CEO for the group and CEO of its boat division.

Newly-elected chairman, Lyon-Caen (pictured right) was a member of the board of directors from 2019 to 2022, having previously chaired Groupe Beneteau’s supervisory board from 2005 to 2019. He was also chairman of the French Nautical Industries Federation for eight years and has been chairman of the French Boating and Yachting Confederation (CNP) since 2015.

Louis Claude Roux will continue to act as vice-chairman of the board.
