Appleby hires trust law specialist
David Pytches, a leading trust law specialist, has been appointed as Counsel at Appleby’s Isle of Man office.
Pytches joins Appleby from Standard Bank in Jersey. He trained at Stevens & Bolton, joining the firm’s tax and trusts practice in 1999, and moved to the trusts group of Walkers in 2005. He has spent much of his 16 year professional career in the Cayman Islands and was responsible for the Cayman trust team at Conyers Dill & Pearman.
Pytches is also a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He has a wealth of experience in complex trust structures, reserved powers trusts, PTCs, the powers and obligations of trustees, the rights of beneficiaries and the functions of protectors and enforcers.
