AMELS finalises sale of third Limited Editions in three months

AMELS finalised the sale of a Limited Editions superyacht at the Monaco Yacht Show last week.

The sale of this new 55-metre AMELS 180 marks the twenty-eighth Limited Editions yacht sold since the introduction of the concept ten years ago. This is also the third of the range sold in three months.

The Dutch shipyard currently has eight new Limited Editions projects underway. “We’re innovating and growing. A big factor behind that is the rock solid support of our parent company DAMEN Shipyards” said Rob Luijendijk, Managing Director of AMELS. “And in fact it was Chairman Kommer Damen’s vision that lead to the introduction of the Limited Editions concept in 2005.”

Buyer representative Jonathan Zwaans of Y.CO said  “I would like to thank AMELS for their fantastic support and co-operation in bringing this exciting project to fruition. This is the second AMELS New Build project sold by Y.CO this year and we always enjoy working with the team at this world-class shipyard.”
