Third date of Perini Navi auction set

The date of the third Perini Navi auction has been set for December 22, according to bankruptcy trustee, Franco Della Santa following two previously failed attempts.

Perini’s estate and assets will go under the hammer with a base price of €47m, a 25% reduction on its initial value of €62.5m first set in July, and €6.5m less than September’s €53.5m base price.

This €47m figure is also the price suggested by The Italian Sea Group, having made an “irrevocable” offer for the estate in October.

In the same week, Ferretti Group and Sanlorenzo, under a new 50:50 partnership Restart, made an undisclosed offer for the estate.

Palumbo, which had declared an interested in Perini Navi at the time of the first auction has not since commented on the sale.

The third auction will take place at 3pm in the headquarters of Perini Navi in Coppino, Italy.

Listed for sale are two shipyards, moveable and immovable compendium in Viareggio, moveable and immovable property in La Spezia and land in Pisa, as well as hull 2369, which is under construction, as well as other assets.
