Numarine’s U.S dealer Numarine USA has sold the second Explorer 32XP series motor yacht to an experienced American customer.

The motor yacht is currently being built following the sale agreement. It is expected to be delivered to its customer next summer. The sale was made direct to the customer.

This signing follows the launch of the first 32XP just last month. Numarine expects to launch the second hull in summer 2018, a representative told Superyacht Investor.

The Explorer 32XP measures 32.5m in length and can accommodate 12 passengers. It offers 30m2 of living space, and two VIP cabins and two double cabins with ensuite bathrooms.

Its interior and exterior were designed by Can Yalman, the yard’s long-time design partner. Umberto Tagliavini was bought on as the naval architect for the project.

The Explorer 32XP has a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Its maximum range is 3,000nm at an economical speed of nine knots.

The vessel is powered by two CAT C18 Acert C 715bhp engines, each offering 2100rpm. Numarine worked with its partner Silent Line to minimise noise levels, resulting in the 32XP surpassing technical and environmental certification body DNV’s Class 1 comfort requirements.
