Burgess Asia sells Event Amels

Burgess’ Asia team recently secured their first superyacht sale, brokering a deal for the 60 metre AMELS Event.

Burgess Asia represented the buyer of this award-winning yacht which will be used privately, with operational management provided by Burgess.

62 metre Event was built in 2013 as the first hull of the Amels 199 Limited Edition series and delivered in 2014. Her exterior was designed by Tim Heywood with a Laura Sessa interior. She won a World Superyacht Award for Best Displacement Yacht 500GT to 1,299GT.

Burgess Asia said “This landmark yacht sale has helped cement Burgess’ prominent position in the Asian superyacht market, representing more yachts for sale or charter on behalf of Asia-based clients than any other brokerage company.”
