Cecil Wright sells AMADEUS

Cecil Wright & Partners have finalised the sale of 73 metre M/Y Amadeus .

Amadeus was built by Amadeus Yachts in 2007. Her asking price was listed as EURO 50,000,000.

“Following two earlier sales and the signature of a 72m New Build contract at FEADSHIP, the sale of AMADEUS completes an excellent year for us” said Chris Cecil-Wright. “Our charter business also continues to flourish and we are working on new CA signings for both sales and charter in early 2016.”

“Plainly the large yacht market is in reasonable health and I am very confident about the future of our business. The volume of sales are up, average prices are up and delivery dates at top shipyards are now running into at least 2021. A leading factor in this recovery is undoubtedly the strength of the US Dollar which is up 38% against the Euro since May 2014.”
