A British crew member has died after reportedly being electrocuted on the 62m superyacht Baton Rouge in English Harbour, Antigua.

Chief engineer Roy Temme, 47, was found unconscious in the engine room after investigating an electrical outage on 23 February, according to the Antigua Observer.

The paper says Temme was taken to hospital where the father of two from Southampton was later pronounced dead.

Britain’s Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) said it has sent a team of inspectors to Antigua to gather evidence.
