AvA Yachts names Gilman Yachts as its North and South American dealer

AvA Yachts has announced an exclusive partnership with US-based brokerage, Gilman Yachts. The Fort Lauderdale-based dealership will act as its sole distributor for North and South America.

Gilman Yachts said it will offer a full service for AvA Yachts owners and buyers, handling both sales and aftersales procedures for clients on the two continents.

“We are very happy to have confirmed Jeff Stanley and Gilman Yachts as our North and South American dealer,” said Atilla Küçükdiker, chairman and founder, AvA Yachts.

Küçükdiker added that the move was in response to “a great deal of interest” in its Kando series (pictured) from both North and South America. “And with a strong presence on the ground we are looking forward to building some really great AvA Yachts for customers in the region,” he said.

The Turkish shipyard’s Kando explorer yachts series range between 28m (92ft) and 50m (164ft).

The two firms had previously worked together on the sale and delivery of Lady Caroline, a 34m yacht from AvA’s Kando series. “We know what totally consummate professionals they are and are delighted to have our shipyard and brand represented by such a safe pair of hands,” said Küçükdiker.
