Amels debuts 55 metre 180 superyacht

Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels has launched its latest 55 metre superyacht onto the market. The limited edition Amels 180 weighs in at 707 gross tons and and was designed by Tim Heywood.

The owner’s suite is fitted with a folding balcony while the main deck saloon has two balconies providing access to open air and sea views. The enlarged sun deck is 25 meters long giving this area 155 square metres of space.

The interior of the vessel was designed by Laura Sessa and has 21 guest accommodation berths with accommodation for 12 crew plus the captain. It is now being prepared after the final outfitting stage.

The Amels shipyard is based in Vlissingen in Holland, the country’s third largest port, in the grounds of the historic former headquarters of Royal Schelde. Facilities at the site include a helicopter landing site.

Two dry docks measuring 204 metres and 145 metres are climate controlled and have access to the North Sea for launches.
