The 85.9m super sailing yacht Aquijo is back on the market, having been listed for sale by Edmiston & Company. Delivered in 2016 as the largest high-performance ketch in the world, Aquijo was built in the Netherlands by Vitters and Oceanco.

Under power, a pair of Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 16 knots topping out at 17.5 knots.

Aquijo’s steel and aluminium structure can accommodate up to 16 guests in seven cabins. The master suite, set apart from the other cabins on the bridge deck, comes with two bathrooms and its own terrace. A further four guest cabins can be found on the lower deck and include two VIPs, which can be sectioned off into smaller cabins, a double cabin and a twin cabin.

On the main deck, the library can be converted into a double berth as needed creating an additional en-suite guest cabin, with an extra cabin for staff on the same level. Meanwhile, an elevator connects all decks allowing guests to move around easily throughout the yacht.

To avoid Aquijo looking too tall, Tripp placed the bridge a half-deck down from the upper owners deck, with the flybridge flush on top. The sheer was kept low aft for clear sightlines from the saloon and dining room.

Below, Aquijos beach club features a fully-blown spa; including a skylight-lit jacuzzi, with a relaxation area to starboard and a sauna to port.

The asking price of Aquijo is available on application.
