Tankoa reveals two new 50m yacht projects

Tankoa has begun construction of two 50 metre yachts.

One of the yachts is based on the S501 design, with the other being a hybrid-powered S502 variant, similar to Elettra, – the first S502 that is due to launch in February 2019. Both yachts are all-aluminium builds, and will feature exterior styling by Francesco Paszkowski.

Both boats will feature an owner’s suit on the main deck with fold-down terraces, as well as a side-loading tender garage aft.

The S501 will be powered with conventional diesel propulsion while the S502 will come with a hybrid propulsion package developed with Diesel Centre. The yacht will feature four flexible propulsion modes ranging from full electric mode to full-speed mode.

Construction work on the two projects started in the first week of May and both yachts will be available for delivery in time for the 2020 summer season.
