Fraser Yachts sell 74m Construction Project, AMELS 242

Fraser Yachts have announced the sale of a new 74 metre construction project at AMELS.

The second hull of the AMELS 242 Limited Edition range is scheduled for delivery to a repeat client in the spring of 2016. AMELS will also deliver the AMELS 272, the largest in the Limited Editions range at 83 meters, next year.

This is third superyacht over 70 metres currently under construction at the shipyard.

Rob Luijendijk, Managing Director, AMELS said: “This yacht will have a very different character to the first AMELS 242. This is precisely why our Limited Editions concept has worked so well. The customisation, the very high level of quality and the proven platform, combined with faster delivery, creates a very attractive proposition.”

Antoine Larricq, Buyer’s repesentative, Fraser Yachts said: “We initially visited the AMELS 212 Z during the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show. Thereafter we explored all possibilities of potential projects under construction. This took us worldwide, travelling as far as the Antipodes and China and finally extended to the study of full custom solution. With the Client’s brief uppermost, it gradually became clear that the AMELS shipyard ticked all the boxes.”

This month Fraser Yachts have also sold Benetti’s Annaeva, Brooke Yachts’ Philosophy, and Bloemsma Van Breemen’s BVB 44M.
