Filippetti Yacht launches in USA

Italian shipyard, Filippetti Yacht, has partnered with Wider Yachts to introduce their fleet to the United States market.

Filippetti Yacht reported that Fausto and Giovanni Filippetti are “longtime friends” with Wider Yachts president, Derren Datson and marketing manager, Monica Hernandez.

Fausto cofounded Pershing Yachts and has over thirty years experience in the Italian yacht building industry.

Filippetti Yacht constructs and sells three distinct luxury yacht ranges: flybridge (F series), sport (S series) and navetta (N series).

The shipyard marks their new relationship with the United States with construction of a 28.3 metre Filippetti F93 which is due for delivery in summer 2016. The yard will also begin building the S65 in December 2015. It has been specifically designed for the US market and will be delivered in 2016.

“I am particularly impressed with the S65 and S75, as it will give the fast express buyer some alternatives to the current market” said Datson.

“We will follow the client’s vision of how they want their yachts built. Allowing them not only a level of customisation to make the project their own, but building them at very competitive prices”, said the Filippetti USA team.
