Denison selected as Alpha’s North American dealer

Denison has partnered with Alpha Custom Yachts to become its exclusive North American dealer. Alpha is a shipbuilding company founded in 2017 by brothers Roberto and Jorge Aboumrad.

The first build was a custom Alfresco 106, as a personal yacht project; today, the company has multiple yachts under construction, up to 140ft (42.6m) in length.

“I’m honoured to be chosen by Alpha to represent such an exclusive brand. A brand who’s ethos is to create a beautiful yacht that follows form and function. I know how it sounds, because everyone says that they have built the perfect yacht — but Roberto and Jorge have done it,” said David Johnson, broker, Denison who will be responsible for managing and marketing Alpha’s sales. “They have a combined lifetime of yachting experience and when they put their heads together to design the Spritz and Alpha models — the outcome is the perfect yacht in its size category.”

The second hull of the Spritz 102 is due to be on display at the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 102 was also recently awarded the Best Deck Design by Design Et Al in the 2021 International Yacht and Aviation Awards.

Roberto Aboumrad, said: “We consider Denison not only to be a leader in the brokerage community but also accustomed to selling new yachts. They’ve already represented other brands and that sets them apart from the standard activity of a brokerage firm. Obviously, our size of boats is not for a normal-sized dealer; so it was complicated to make our decision, but for sure we made the right choice.”
