Azimut Yachts reveal flagship Grande Trideck

Via online press conference, Azimut Yachts has revealed its new flagship yacht and the company’s first triple, or trideck, vessel, the 38m (125.5ft) Azimut Grande Trideck. The builder also took the opportunity to showcase some new ways to reveal too.

Azimut Grande Trideck has three decks “plus one”, because the vessel has an extra deck in the stern in addition to the namesake’s three. The result is four staggered terraces going down from the sun deck to the water’s surface.

With exterior design by Alberto Mancini the Trideck’s displacement hull will be made largely of carbon fibre. There is room for 10 guest and six crew onboard. The Trideck has a maximum speed of 24kn and a cruise speed of up to 21kn.

The launch of the new flagship gave Azimut Yachts the chance to bring forward the introduction of A-Live, a 360-degree vision system which allows online users to move around the yacht virtually. The tour has been available on Azimut’s website since May 29th.

This tour of the yacht is also enhanced by a series of in-depth hotspots said Azimut, which when clicked on play videos containing details about all the advanced technology on board.
