Azimut Yachts celebrates wins at Cannes

Azimut Yachts has won four World Yacht Trophies at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

The Azimut 60 was awarded the Best Layout trophy in the 50’ to 80’ category, with Stefano Righini’s interior featuring cutaway gunwales as well as floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Azimut Grande 27 Metri won the Most Achieved trophy in the 80’ to 125’ category.

The Best Interior Design trophy for 80’ to 125’ yachts also went to the Italian shipyard for the Azimut Grande 25 Metri.

Azimut’s latest yacht in its sports collection, the S7, won the Best Technology Evolution trophy. The award recognises the shipyard’s investments in technology and R&D, including a post-curing oven for carbon fibre production at the Avigliana yard.

The World Yacht Trophies ceremony was held at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes.
